Hamsa Said

Hamsa Said was born and raised in Iraq. She graduated from Almansour University College of Law in Baghdad. After moving to the United States, Hamsa attended North Park University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with Cum Lade honors.
 
Hamsa earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law. Prior to joining the Law Office of Fedor Kozlov, P.C, Hamsa worked as a Family Law Attorney at Solutions First Law Firm, where she gained extensive experience in litigating family law cases.
 
In addition, Hamsa worked as a Law Clerk for two years at the Law Department in the City of Chicago in the field of Business and Zoning Law. While Hamsa was a law student, she interned at Life Span Law Office, where she provided legal consultation and divorce reconciliation to victims of domestic violence.
 
Furthermore, Hamsa volunteered as a 711 Law Clerk at Domestic Violence Court. Hamsa also did an internship with DePaul Asylum and Immigration Law Clinic, where she assisted clients in obtaining legal status in the United States. Hamsa is fluent in many languages, including Assyrian and Arabic.
